Abstract:

In this article, the personal library of E. S. Shurygin, a well-known connoisseur of poetry in Siberia and an engineer by profession, is considered from the point of view of both the composition and structure of the library itself, and the personal qualities and aspirations of its owner. The objective and subjective factors of library formation are analyzed, the main of which is the era of the «sixties» and its representatives, the criteria for its status are identified. It is concluded that the personal library of E. S. Shurygin for the nature of his worldview.
