Abstract: The article is the continuation of the author’s observations of the dynamic processes occurring in the last decade in the sphere of the speech behavior of Russian speakers. The author examines the destruction of the rules of communication that are considered characteristic of Russian speakers. The purpose of the article is to analyze metalinguistic utterances that demonstrate the speaker’s linguistic reflection on the speech behavior of his or her own or of another participant in communication. The constructions that mark the sincerity of speech are analyzed: I will say (it) sincerely, I am speaking sincerely and say (it) sincerely, speak sincerely. Based on statistical data in the National Corpus of the Russian Language, the author notes a tendency to reduce the frequency of these markers and makes assumptions about the reasons for the change in the speech strategy of Russian speakers. The conducted directed associative experiment confirms the noted tendency. Other linguistic consequences of the rejection of sincerity are noted, in particular, changes in the genre-forming features of the genre of public apology. An assumption is made that changes in the sphere of axiology will lead to the replacement of previously existing rules of speech behavior with “antirules”. It is argued that the task of linguists is to record and analyze these changes that occur before our eyes under the influence of extralinguistic factors.
