Brief scientific biography

In 1996 L. A. Kurysheva graduated from the faculty of Russian language and literature of Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University. Under the guidance of the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences E. K. Romodanovskaya, she completed postgraduate studies at the Institute of Philology of the SB RAS (1996–2000). In 2004 she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of philological sciences on the topic “Tales of the Knights in ‘Russian Tales’ by V. A. Levshin: a fabulously historical narrative model” (specialty 10.01.01 – “Russian Literature”).

She has been working at the Institute of Philology of the SB RAS since 1998, from 2005 to 2015 she is the Scientific Secretary of the Institute; currently a leading researcher in the Literary Studies Sector.

In 2008–2010 gave a lecture course “History of foreign literature of the XVII–XVIII centuries” at the department of foreign literature and teaching methods of the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University.

Member of the Russian Society for the Study of the 18th century, which is a collective member of the international organization for the study of the 18th century – La Société internationale de l’étude du XVIII sècle / International Society of Eighteenth Century Stadies (SIEDS / ISECS).

Member of scientific conferences and congresses in Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Tomsk, Grodno (Belarus), Giessen (Germany), Graz (Austria), Montpellier (France).
