Brief scientific biography

Elena Vladimirovna Kapinos has been graduated from Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University (NSPU) in 1994, she has been working at the Institute of Philology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS) starting from the same year; she is currently a Leading Researcher in the Literary Studies Sector, Doctor of Science (the thesis was defended in 2014). Research interests: poetry of the 19th and 20th centuries (Pushkin, Batyushkov, Boratynsky, Tyutchev, Mandelstam), lyrical prose, Bunin's prose, literature of Siberia and the Far East of the first half of the 20th century. E. V. Kapinos is the author of about a hundred of articles and several monographs, including: “Malye formy poessii I prosy (Bunin I drugie)” ("Small forms of poetry and prose (Bunin and others)" (Novosibirsk, 2014), “Poessia Primorskikh Alp. Rasskazy I. A. Bunina 1920-kh godov” ("Poetry of the Maritime Alps. Stories by I.A. Bunin of the 1920s" (Moscow, 2014), etc.
