Abstract: The article deals with the transcription of the language Plautdietsch, spoken all around the world by the Mennonites, also in West Siberia. For the fixation of folklore texts as well as field materials published for the first contact a simpli-fied version of transcription, similar to those used in Canada and Germany, is purposed.
