Abstract: The scientific conference «The Nation and the World in Russian Literature. Contemporary issues in the study of Goncharov’s works» was dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the writer’s birth, analysis of the contemporary issues in studying his life and creative work, investigation of the peculiarity of Russian mentality within the wide context of Russian and world culture and literature.
