Abstract: Using a ceremonial text of the middle of the 17th century as an example, the present paper considers the dynamics of insights into the universe and their embodiment in the form of a special genre of Russian literature – the description of conducting a ceremonial. The article updates the problem of studying the correlation and reciprocal influence of documentary and belles-lettres texts of the Russian literature in the Transition period.
