Abstract: The paper discusses the results of the folklore-ethnographic expeditions made in 2011 to the Tuvinians of China and Mongolia. The author analyzes the modern state of the oral folk traditions among the foreign Tuvinians who have been living in isolation from the maternal ethnic group for more than 200 years.
