Abstract: The article deals with the stylistic features of Internet communication. The author elucidates the problem of the correlation of oral and written speech elements in internet communication, examines the reasons for the emergence of oral speech and its role in everyday speech, and expresses her own opinion of the dominant position of written speech on the Internet.
