Abstract: The paper is dedicated to studying the history of forming the lexico-semantical system of the Russian language in West Siberia. The special features of the lexical representation of semantic paradigms forming the nuclear and peripheral spheres of semantic field of space reconstructed on the base of regional folklore texts of the XVII–XVIII centuries are examined.
