Abstract: In the article on the basis of the poetic discourse of symbolists, presented by the poetry collection «Burning Building» (1900), «We shall be as the Sun» (1903), «Only Love» (1903) by K.D. Balmont, «Tertia Vigilia» (1898–1901) by V.Y. Bryusov and «Collection of poems 1889–1903» by Z.N. Gippius, lexical regulative are regarded on the level of an utterance. The universal and the individual are revealed in organizing of cognitive activity of readers on the given level.
