Abstract: In clause the Tuva lexeme haiyrakan is considered, its lexicon-semantic characteristic in comparison with the South-Siberian Turkic and Mongolian languages, and also historical-etymological comments in occasion of its possible origin is given. Besides it is resulted and analyzed names of irreal essences of the maximum category having, as a component, in the structure a lexeme haiyrakan, namely Kudai-haiyrakan, Ulu-haiyrakan, Kezer-haiyrakan. All of them meet in texts of shamanist folklore and the maximum degree are esteemed by Tuvinians.
