Abstract: Questions concerning genesis of language and a word are concerned, parity of con-cepts creativity in language and formation of words, factors of origin new in language (genetic aspect), recognition and use of new unit by the individual (functional aspect). Derivation a component of language ability of the person is at the centre of research.
