Abstract: The article contains an analysis of symbols and allegories the image of garden in the novel by O. Wilde "The Picture of Dorian Gray". The author of the article proves that the images of garden and main hero are represented on the basis of multilevels reminiscences of Shakespeare's Sonnets.
