Abstract: The article dwells upon one of the most important centers of old-believers' art of chanting historically known as "Guslitza". On the basis of the document printed on a hectographer and found in the course of a scientific expedition the researcher studies the specifics of chant-terminology typical for old-believers, the state of liturgical chanting at the beginning of the 20th century, the problems of clerical education. The above material is being presented to the scientific world for the first time
