Abstract: The article dwells upon one of the most important centers of old-believers' art of chanting historically known as "Guslitza". On the basis of the document printed on a hectographer and found in the course of a scientific expedition the researcher studies the specifics of chant-terminology typical for old-believers, the state of liturgical chanting at the beginning of the 20th century, the problems of clerical education.
