Abstract: This review states that the collective monograph «Language personality: modelling, typology, portraying (Siberian linguo-personology). P. 1» represents a new stage in the development of the theory of language personality and anthropocentric linguistics as a whole. The monograph presents the results of the investigation of Siberian lingvo-personologists in the field of modelling the language personality and its language portraiture, carried out on the basis of different parameters: level, cognitive, genre and socio-vocal. A monographic investigation expands and deepens the ideas about the phenomenon of linguistic personality, which is studied in the mental and psychological aspect. The monograph realizes the synthesis of the theoretical and applied aspects of modelling and portraying the language personality. The applied aspects of the typology of language personalities have outlets in the didactics with its focus on learner-centered education and unilingualism examination.
