Abstract: The article is dedicated to the study of the methods which allow to express the estimation in the text of the autobiographical prose by Yurii Nagibin. The estimation is considered as a particular method of the subjectivation and as a way to convey the author's position in the autobiographical prose. The study of different linguistic works shows that the goal of the evaluative statement in most cases is to influence addressee in the specific way, as a result the estimation is closely connected with expressivity and emotionality. The estimation can be positive or negative and rational or emotional. Conducted analysis displays that in the autobiographical prose by Yurii Nagibin the estimation depends on the subjective perception of the narrator and allows to express his point of view. The article illustrates different methods of conveying increased expressivity in the artistic text such as stylistically marked vocabulary, morphological and word-formative methods.

Keywords: subjectivation, estimation, narrator, emotional estimation, rational estimation, vocabulary, nonce words
