Name: Semantic variation of the predicate in generating a linguistic game

Abstract: The article deals with semantic syntax and is particularly focused on description of the modifications in semantic sentence structure due to changes in predicate meaning as well as changes of its actant framework in wordplay. The profound analyses of the statements with metaphorical and metonymical transfer, occasional semantic derivatives or zeugma results in presenting the syntactic behaviour of the verb and its complements.
