Abstract: The article is devoted to the use of international anthroponomy in Tuvan naming practice. The investigation of Tuvan given names allows to come to a conclusion that the international anthroponomy in their using has two periods which differ from each other very much. The given names loaned mainly by oral way which are subjected (exposed) to phonetic changing of modern Tuvan language are related to the first period. They are also the given names formed from Russian surnames and common nouns which do not use as anthroponomy in Russian language. It testifies about bad knowledge of Russian language by Tuvans in that period. The given names connected with historical events after the annexation of Tuva into the Russia are included in the second period. Later it were loaned the names devoted to the important event in the world. It was the novelty in the naming practice of Tuvans.
