Аннотация:

Рассматриваются теоретические и методологические особенности риторического подхода к анализу политической коммуникации в зарубежной лингвистике (2010–2018 гг.). Выделяются основные направления риторического подхода (риторический критицизм, анализ рефрейминга, семиотический анализ, текстуальный анализ), а также основные тематические области, привлекающие внимание исследователей данного направления (теоретико-методологическая проблематика, исследование идиолектов политических лидеров, метафорологические изыскания, анализ институциональных дискурсов, изучение риторических стратегий, сопоставительные исследования).

Особенность современного риторического подхода заключается в том, что не всегда можно провести четкую границу между публикациями, выполненными в рамках традиционного риторического направления, и исследованиями, учитывающими особенности иных подходов. Риторические исследования характеризуются переплетением и филиацией идей, предложенных в рамках когнитивной лингвистики и дискурс-анализа.
