Brief scientific biography

E. V. Tyuntesheva graduated from the faculty of Humaties of the Novosibirsk State University in 1998. In 2002, after completing her postgraduate studies at the Institute of Philology of the SB RAS, she defended her candidate’s thesis on the topic «Somatic phraseological units characterizing a person in the Turkic languages of Siberia and in Kazakh language» under the guidance of Doctor of Philology N. N. Shirobokova. She has been working at the Institute of Philology of the SB RAS since 2002. Elena Tyuntesheva’s academic interests are related to the northern dialects of the Altai language, lexis and phraseology of the Altai language (in comparison with other Turkic languages of Southern Siberia and Kipchak languages).
