Abstract: The article is devoted to identification and description within the functionally-semantic and comparative approaches of lexical means for the process of human nutrition. Is determined by the composition of the nucleus of the group in the form of verbs of eating (in this series and are considered identical in the meaning of verb-noun combinations). A comparison of the semantics of the identified verbs in Khakas and the Khanty languages, to ascertain the system of idiomaticity, underlying the similarities and differences between these languages.
