Abstract: The paper describes processes of development of Shor present tense forms and imperative non-singular forms of the first person on the material of V. V. Radlov’s recordings of Shor epic texts in the middle of the ninetieth century. Synthetic present tense forms develop from analytical biverbal constructions, intermediate stages of this process were documented by V. V. Radlov. His materials also show that Shor non-singular inclusive imperative forms of the first person have witnessed a few cycles of their development.

Keywords: Historical linguistics, Shor, synthesis of analytical constructions, inclusive imperative forms
