Abstract: The report article, «Women's beauty in fairy tales by L. Petrushevskaya: Illusions and their Embodiment» analyzes the tune of «ideal beauty». In this regard, it is considered subjects, where the heroines have the perfect appearance of the natural or acquired it by artificial means. These peculiarities allow subjects to describe the image of the body, character behavior strategies, specifics of women's issues in the illusions of self-perception and relationship with the world. The heroine is trying to find itself between two poles: a beauty to be hard, and be invisible, it does not want. Question of Beauty is updated during the search of her husband, and thus at the stage of the heroine find their place in society.
