Abstract: The article deals with the early performativity, which was based on the voice function. The performativity itself as a constituent phenomenon of culture is evaluated on the scale successful – not successful and is not included in the evaluation according to the scale true-false of logics. As a result culture is growing from the postulates, which cannot be neglected in the common sense of the word. Here the special role belongs to the voice function as an autopoetic factor of the performativity. It is the voice that is the criterion of the early performativity. It is the voice function which allows at inception to change the course of events by pronouncing protosounds.

Keywords: performativity, voice function, semiotics, semiosis model, autoreference
