Name: Bilingualism and Translingual Interactions in P. Gimferer's Poetry

Abstract: This article is dedicated to the analysis of texts by Pere Gimferrer, a Spanish-Catalan bilingual poet. The shift between Spanish and Catalan is studied and a change of strategies in address and use of poetic formats is detected. The tendency towards a more specific address and amplification of linguistic space by including more languages into interaction in each period is observed.
